…to have had a Grandmother like Grandma Peggy who passed away a year ago today. I miss her so much and it never gets easier to deal with the fact that I'll never see her smiling face again.
…that I am married to the best person in the world for me and that she came with a bonus of having two sweet, beautiful, healthy and smart kids who will someday make me a Grandpa.

I know how fortunate I am to have a supportive, loving and accepting wife and I'm looking forward to many more Thanksgivings as her husband.
…that I'm employed. Nuff said.
…to have built some truly deep and meaningful friendships this year, healthy friendships that I know will last.
…that I have such a warm and loving family. Even in distance they are very close to my heart and there's nothing I wouldn't do for any of them.
…that my family and friends have been so supportive of my transition and have helped not only emotionally but even financially to make my top surgery a real possibility. It means so much more to me than you know.

lots of good thoughts go out to you today, I said this on Tina’s blog, but it sounds like your grandma was an amazing woman. I’m sure she’s smiling at all your awesomeness from somewhere up above right now.
