A quickie.

Everything has been going great lately, transition and otherwise.

My only complaint is that I seem to be losing control when it comes to food.  I’m a beast, I tell ya.  I’ve managed to gain 8 lbs back so far and I think it’s all in my gut.  I’m working hard on building muscle, but I think I need to go back to eating healthier foods and maybe add some cardio to the days that I’m not at the gym.  (Wanna start walking again babe?)

This past weekend was full of fun family outdoor activities.  We went fishing on my cousin’s boat on Saturday which was awesome, then we went to the Italian Festival that night and hung out a bit afterward with B & P and T.  Then Sunday was lil Eric’s 8th bday party!  I can’t believe how fast he’s growing up.  It was also Grandpa’s 76th b-day and I think thier joint celebration is one of my favorite times of the year.  I wish Grandma could have been here this year to celebrate with us.  She may not have been there physically, but I did feel her presence alot over the weekend.  Maybe it was because Aunt Val is here and she reminds me of her.

I was so happy that mom even came to the party.  She tends to avoid big gatherings so that was pretty huge.

Today was my 5 wk follow up with my Endocrinologist.  He said my labs look awesome and my T levels are great.  No changes to my dose are necessary right now and he’s really happy with my results so far.

:)   I don’t have to see him again until end of Sept. when hopefully I’ve recovered from my hysterectomy/oophorectomy.

Tonight I see my therapist.  It’s been two weeks and I think I can find a few things to talk about.  Luckily all good stuff.

Walking is great and it’s a good time to just talk to eachother and reconnect after a long day. We went for a walk on Sunday and we were saying how great it would be to make it a nightly thing.

I’m so happy that you had a great weekend. Italian festivals are fun, have you ever be to the San Gennaro Feast in NYC in Sept.? You guys would love that. They do it up big. There can be no dieting that day. LOL

I hope your session goes well tonight, buddy.
