Thanks to the assistance of my wife, I have finally chosen a middle name.
I’ve filled out the required paperwork that the State of CT requires for legal name change in the state and need to submit it to probate court ASAP.
My new name will be:
Jesse Aaron R******
Like it? I still plan to go by and would like to be called Jess so please don’t start calling me Jesse. Jessie was always what Tina (and my family) called me as a sort of nickname and it would be weird if everyone started calling me that all of a sudden.

As for an update, I still need to come out to my father and youngest siblings. I’m working an a letter to them right now and plan to send it this week. I’m looking forward to my Endocrinologist appt. on the 9th as well as my therapy appt. the same afternoon.
Speaking of therapy, my therapist called to reschedule my appt. yesterday because she was under the weather. We’ve rescheduled for the appointment to be Saturday morning at a coffee shop mid-way between her office and my house. That should be cool. She’s agreed to write me a letter so that I can change my gender marker on my licence with the DMV which is awesome. I’d like to change that when I get my name changed so hopefully I can.
