Not me.

I’m not really feeling Jesse as a name for me.  In fact, I’m kicking myself for even including any form of my current name in the polls.  Not really feeling Lynden either.  Great names, I just don’t feel attached to them.  Does that make sense?

I’d be open to any suggestions that you all might have.  I’d like to stick with the J and L names but if there’s a name out there with an awesome meaning that suits me, I’d be willing to try it on.

Thanks guys (and gals).
Jess (for now)

I confess, I voted for Lennox as the middle name. I love it because it makes me think of:

    1. Lenox MA, a lovely town and home of the Boston Symphony at Tanglewood,

    2. An old American porcelain manufacturer from NJ (still used in the white house), and

    3. Annie Lennox, still one of my favourite singers.

I’m stumped by the first name though. My M. is having similar difficulties so I feel you on this one!

I really like the name Jamie. It’s totally unisex, well here in the UK anyway. It’s cool without being too much.

Hmmm. Lawrence goes well with most names.

    Thanks baby :)

    Sin –
Jace is good. I do love it.
Jaden is in my current top few faves.
I love Jaxon. not for me though

Lane and Luc are top runners for me right now for a middle.

    Cindy –
I like J. Seems short to be official.

Zoe – Jay is a top fave also. Or Jai.

Greg – Joaquin! If only I could pull it off.

Freedomgirl – I love Lenox MA! I actually like the single “n” spelling better. Lenox.. hmmm

Joe – I like Jaime. It’s a good one. I think Lawrence is very male, I’m trying to keep it neutral. It’s a nice name though!

Joey, Jordan, Jene…I have no idea if these have been thought up before though!

I like Jesson though. It’s different without sounding obscure. I can imagine calling someone that.

If you went with Jesson I’d imagine you’d still end up being called Jess. How would you feel about that?

Thanks Ellis, I will keep those in mind.

Sassy – because with the name Jesson I’d be able to tell people my name isn’t Jessica when they assume it is. :P

Plus.. I love the name Jess as a nickname. :)

First, I have no doubt that you are working your way into becoming the person you are most comfortable being. And I think that’s not only an amazing process, but an amazing thing to share.

    As for the names, hmmmmm.

I have an aunt Jeri. Totally unisex name.

    As for the L…

    how about lust :)

I’m late at this but why not Jade? Jayd or Jaed(pronounced Jade) middle name Levi

How about Jarrett? No suggestions for L names.

When I transitioned, I struggled with this, too. Keep in mind that if you choose something unusual, you will have to spell it for everyone and will be subjected to hearing people butcher it in ways you can’t imagine.

Also be aware that no matter what you change it to, there will be people in your life who will continue to call you by previous names.

Great suggestions. I love Jax, Jace, and Jude in particular. Jaden reminds me of Britney Spear’s son, but that’s just because I am a shameless gossip whore.

Very late chiming in, I kinda like Jesse Luc. Could just be Jess L or J. Luc too. Then there's my friend whose dad had a strange sense of humor & named him Justin Luck.

I like Jess….I also like Jace and call most of the Jasons I know Jace and they seem to like it. I knew one Jason who went by Jace along with Jason Quartermaine on General Hospital. Carley called him Jase/Jace as a knickname and it fit. My other friend is a sexy gay guy and it fits him. Thats my two cents on it for now.
    Peace,
    Diva
